Corrections: How JPert Fixes and Updates Its Articles
When we get something wrong, we fix it. Our goal is that every Chronicles article, briefing and alert is accurate the moment you read it.
Report an error
Spotted a mistake? Tell us through our contact form or call 703-576-8200. Include the article and what looks wrong. We review every report within one business day.
How we handle corrections
- Typos and wording: fixed as soon as we see them.
- Factual errors such as a wrong date, number or version: checked against the official source and corrected in the article the same business day.
- Serious errors such as wrongly naming a breach victim or unsafe advice: fixed or removed right away, and corrected anywhere we shared the article, including social media.
- News that changes: when the facts behind an alert change after we publish, we add a dated “Update” note so you know what is new.
